Trimurti

As guests walk through the Balinese Gateway, the entrance to our gardens, they encounter a beautifully carved statue sitting in the lotus position. Carved out of limestone in the Balinese Hindu style, this statue represents the Supreme God as Trimurti. The three heads with a single body represent creation, preservation, and dissolution - the cycle that all existence goes through. The Trimurti statue is a reminder that we are born on this planet and will exist for a finite period before we leave our physical bodies. During this earthly sojourn, it is important to gain clarity of our spiritual philosophy, and the goal and path that it defines. On the Hindu spiritual path, the goal is to experience God within us. At 1.2 meters in height, this statue is in the process of being shipped to Costa Rica. We plan to install him in his final destination in the coming year.
