Rambutan

Rambutan is an evergreen originary from Southeast Asia that can reach heights of 50 ft in the wild. Its name derives from 'rambut' which means 'hair' in the Malay-Indonesian language and very well illustrates it’s funky and hairy, sweet yet mildly acidic, fruit. The tree’s lovely aromatic flowers are very enticing to insects, especially bees.
