Purple Mangosteen

This tropical evergreen tree is native to Southeast Asia and loves warm conditions. It can grow to up to 82 ft in height and is highly valued for its juicy, delicate, swet and sour fruit. A mature tree at age 35-45 can yield an impressive 3,000 fruits per year! Mangosteen has been awarded multiple tradicional medicine benefits and can also be used as a natural batik fabric dye.
