Mamey Sapote

Pouteria sapota is an ornamental tree that can reach 148 ft at maturity and is native to Mexico and Central America. Its fruit is technically a berry with flesh ranging from pink to orange to red that has a creamy texture and a flavor similar to sweet potato, peach, cantaloupe and almond. It is used in milkshakes and even ice cream!
