Jocote

Spondias purpurea is native to tropical regions of the Americas, from Mexico to Brazil and is part of the cashew family. It is commonly used for living fences and can help avoid erosion. The fuit is known as jocote and has a thin waxy skin with yellow sweet pulp and a large inedible pit in the middle.
