Great St John's wort

Hypericum calycinum, also known as the rose of Sharon or Aaron's beard, is a low-growing shrub species native to Southeast Europe and Southwest Asia. It belongs to the family Hypericaceae and produces large, bright yellow flowers in the summer. The leaves are evergreen and have a shiny, dark green appearance. The plant prefers well-drained soil and partial shade to full sun exposure. It is often used for ornamental purposes in landscaping and as a ground cover. The plant is also used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory and antidepressant properties.
