Gold Tree

Locally known as roble primavera, and native to Mexico, Centroamérica, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador y Bolivia, this spectacular tree can reach 98ft and displays beautiful yellow flowers that attract all sorts of bees and insects. It is known to flower between March and April in Costa Rica and, although its wood was once used even to produce World War II combat plane propellers, it is mostly used as an ornamental tree in most countries.
