Feathertop Grass

Pennisetum villosum, also known as Feathertop grass, is a clump-forming ornamental grass that is native to Africa. It features long, narrow green leaves that arch gracefully, and in summer it produces large, fluffy, white or pinkish flowers that resemble feathers. This plant is drought tolerant, low maintenance, and deer resistant, making it a popular choice for water-wise gardens. It can be grown in various soil types and is often used in borders, rock gardens, and as a ground cover.
