Breadnut

This tree loves tropical environments and is an ancestor of breadfruit and can grow up to 115 ft. It is endemic to New Guinea, the Maluku Islands, and the Philippines. The breadnut spiny fruit is edible when cooked and seeds can also be roasted and eaten. It has an amazing sweet taste and aroma!
